Pirates!

Pirates!

First off, welcome to everyone who is visiting from the Keenspace forums. Your feedback is highly appreciated, so if you got a moment leave me a note or something. That goes for anyone else visiting here. I really would welcome any comments that you could make. (Except for spam: I delete those.)

As promised, here is the Sunday update. Zeb is continuing to have a dream on his birthday. You can find the earlier comics in the Archives. Barring any unforseen work related issues, I should be able to have the next one up on time. Also, don't forget to vote in the poll in the sidebar here. Right now, it looks like three names are in contention for the winner.

Still Drawing

Still Drawing

I have to admit that I haven't been as diligent in posting as I had promised earlier. Part of the reason is that I have been putting a little more effort into the planning and sketching of the comics than I did before. Of course, the other part of the reason why things have been slow is that I am still trying to catch up on mountains of work and reading that I still need to do for my job. Oh well, that's life I guess. I think that I am still developing my eye as far as the actual drawing of the comic goes. Now, I need more practice in the actual pen to paper stages. In any event, I hope you are still enjoying this. If you have a moment, give me any feedback you care to either in the comments or through the artist e-mail address found in the sidebar. Hope to see you soon.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day

Okay, so this is not part of the storyline that I have been developing lately, but seeing as how this Sunday is Mother's Day here, I figured I should do a little something. I may try to do a smaller comic during the middle of the week, but for this week, the above comic may be it. Anyway, Happy Mother's Day!

Sailing

Dream Waves

It doesn't look like I put as much time into this as I actually did. I spent more time on the sketching element, a bit more time on the coloring, and the pay-off is not really what I expected. Oh well. I think this proves that I need to keep experimenting with my drawing tools and the overall comics form. Eventually, I will try to get a Wacom Tablet, a computer drawing pad. I've heard that might help, even though it may be difficult to get used to. When I become a millionaire (yeah, right!), I may even buy a copy of Adobe Photoshop and take a couple of classes in it. In a strange way, this comic fits my mood as of late, but I won't explain how. If you have time, leave a comment or send me an e-mail. (For pete's sake, you don't even have to use your real name.)
